DOES LASER HAIR REMOVAL HURT? +

This all depends on your pain tolerance—some say it’s mild, while others are totally unbothered by it. Our nurses assess your pain tolerance and find ways to make the treatment tolerable for you. Our laser machine cools your skin during the entire treatment process making it even less painful to bear. But ask yourself this: do constant ingrown hairs and razor bumps hurt too?

IS LASER HAIR REMOVAL SAFE? +

Yes, laser hair removal is safe and approved by the FDA. We take the proper precautions to ensure that you are a good candidate for the procedure and that your treatment is performed safely.

IS LASER HAIR REMOVAL PERMANENT? +

Laser hair removal provides up to 80 percent permanent hair reduction after six to eight treatments. Periodically, you may have to touch up areas depending on your hair growth. Fluctuations in your hormones also must be considered, as this may affect your hair growth.

WHAT SIDE EFFECTS MAY I EXPERIENCE AFTER MY TREATMENT? +

Many of our clients experience no side effects, but there are a few common ones. These include minor swelling, redness, itching or laser bumps. They typically subside in a few hours or days.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM MY LASER HAIR REMOVAL TREATMENT? +

Your laser hair removal treatment may last a few minutes to an hour. This all depends on the size and the number of areas being treated. Before starting your treatment, your nurse will ask you a few essential medical-related questions. Afterwards, we will prep the treated area by removing any deodorant, covering tattoos and wiping off any makeup, sunscreen or lotion. Then, you’ll be given eye gear to protect those eyes. You can sit back and relax during your treatment while your nurse does all the work. If you’re having difficulty relaxing, we offer stress balls to help calm you down. Once the treatment is done, we’ll give you some soothing gel and aftercare instructions to take home.
